‘Embolismo por soleá’  is a project that explores plant subjectivities through the visual arts, biological sciences, and flamenco as disciplines that provide knowledge. Embolism is a phenomenon that plants experience under water stress, which can lead to their death. When a tree undergoes drought, air bubbles form in its vascular vessels, blocking them and creating an embolism similar to those in humans. The formation of these air bubbles produces a sound that scientists monitor to study how climate change affects forests.
